{"id":37,"date":"2016-11-03T20:52:44","date_gmt":"2016-11-03T20:52:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/allthingshospitality.com\/blog\/?p=37"},"modified":"2019-04-18T20:44:58","modified_gmt":"2019-04-18T20:44:58","slug":"launches-website-for-hhg","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/allthingshospitality.com\/blog\/2016\/11\/launches-website-for-hhg\/","title":{"rendered":"All Things Hospitality Launches Website for Huntington Hotel Group"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>November 3rd, 2016 (Mansfield, Texas) \u2013 All Things Hospitality<\/strong> announced the launch of the redesigned corporate website for DFW-area hotel management company, Huntington Hotel Group.\u00a0 Huntington commissioned All Things Hospitality to update its corporate website to appropriately convey the company\u2019s breadth of services, effectively display their portfolio of hotels, and act as an entry point to the company careers portal.<\/p>\n<h2>The Website Development Process<\/h2>\n<p>ATH worked closely with Huntington leadership to facilitate a smooth development process as well as identifying the primary goals for the new website.\u00a0 In addition to improving the website\u2019s design aesthetics and performance in organic search results, the updated design needed to address several technical issues with the previous website.<\/p>\n<p>First, outdated content did not accurately reflect the company\u2019s current portfolio.\u00a0 Also, the lack of mobile-friendly design affected usability on mobile devices and tablets.\u00a0 Additionally, confusing navigation resulted in duplicate content.\u00a0 The ATH team started by evaluating the existing content to determine relevance, address duplicate content, and then better organize the navigation to improve user experience.<\/p>\n<h2>Design Highlights<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Highlights of the new website design include:<\/li>\n<li>Calls-to-action focus on Huntington\u2019s primary goals.<\/li>\n<li>The responsive design provides a seamless user experience across devices.<\/li>\n<li>The updated layout emphasizes Huntington\u2019s diverse portfolio of Marriott and Hilton hotels.<\/li>\n<li>The focal point of each hotel\u2019s landing page is vivid imagery, with several featuring photography by All Things Hospitality.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Finally, ATH optimized all on-page search elements to improve the site\u2019s visibility in organic search results.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cIt was a pleasure working with the All Things Hospitality team on the re-launch of our website.
