ATH worked closely with Huntington leadership to facilitate a smooth development process as well as identifying the primary goals for the new website. In addition to improving the website’s design aesthetics and performance in organic search results, the updated design needed to address several technical issues with the previous website.
First, outdated content did not accurately reflect the company’s current portfolio. Also, the lack of mobile-friendly design affected usability on mobile devices and tablets. Additionally, confusing navigation resulted in duplicate content. The ATH team started by evaluating the existing content to determine relevance, address duplicate content, and then better organize the navigation to improve user experience.
